The Arbitral Council of Milan Chamber of Arbitration was appointed by the Board of Directors on March 25, 2021, and will stay in office for two years from that date.
The appointment does not provide for any remuneration, except the reimbursement of expenses at council meetings.
The Arbitral Council appoints and confirms arbitrators in accordance with the provisions of the Rules, settles the fees and expenses of the proceedings, supervises the duration of the arbitration proceedings, including through the assistance of the General Secretariat, monitoring the activities of arbitrators and parties to ensure a speedy resolution of disputes.
The Arbitration Council has general expertise over all matters pertaining to the administration of arbitration proceedings and takes all related measures, subject to the powers attributed by the Rules to the General Secretariat.
Meetings of the Arbitration Council are held periodically. These are the next scheduled dates: January 18, February 15, March 15, 2023.
